The Andocor Gas Diffuser is a medical device to diffuse CO2 or other neutral gas in the thoracic cavity in order to chase away O2 during surgical intervention. By replacing O2 by CO2 in the thoracic cavity during open-heart surgery, the risk of air embolism will be reduced.

The Andocor gas diffuser is a medical device for intraoperative wound ventilation with CO2 to prevent air embolism and bacteriological contamination during surgery. By creating a continuous flow of CO2 in the intraoperative wound, air and bacteriological particles are removed.

The malleable section of Andocor’s gas diffusers allows a very precise placement .
