Andocor’s experience stems from its origins as Romed, a company founded in 1989 by Patrick Rosa, which distributed medical supplies with a focus on cardiac surgery. This foundation provided a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the medical field. Since its establishment in 1997, Andocor has continued to innovate and develop high-quality cardiovascular products, working closely with medical specialists and doctors to ensure excellence in their offerings.

Patrick Rosa founds Romed, a medical supply distribution company in Zoersel, initially focusing on cardiac surgery supplies and later expanding to other medical fields.
1997
Andocor is established by Patrick Rosa, specializing in the development and production of heart catheters and cannulas for open-heart surgeries.
2019
Due to space constraints in Zoersel, the search for a new location begins, leading to the decision to move to De Kluis in Hoogstraten.
2022
The new facility in Hoogstraten becomes operational, featuring state-of-the-art cleanrooms and advanced technologies, significantly enhancing Andocor’s production capacity.
Now
Andocor remains committed to innovation and quality, aiming to expand into new markets and grow its workforce
Andocor’s quality department is diligently working on the transition from MDD to MDR.

With Andocor from Hoogstraten, the final contender for the ‘Voka Business Award 2024’ is known. In September, we will compete against eight other companies with the goal of winning the prestigious ‘Voka Business Award.’ Andocor is truly vital: we supply heart catheters that doctors around the world use for heart surgeries.
